Ok so I am making this post so People can come and say good things ONLY GOOD things. There is so much negativity going on. People just talking out of their ass for the most part. I've seen people that use to be friends talk to each other as if they never new the person with very little if any respect. I want us here to remember why we love/like this place. What makes you come back. This place regardless of all it's drama is a sort of a family. We have to stick together and make this place rock. Don't tare it down with so many complaints. People keep in mind the staff wether it be zone or icon are HUMAN. they are going to make mistakes even fuck up royally. The holidays are just around the corner can we just put down our sharp tongues a bit and think of the good of this site?
Ok so I'll start.
Why do I love/like this place. Cause I have met some fantastic people. Because no matter how freakin weird you are there is some one just as weird waiting to be your friend. Doesn't matter if your a freak, shy, conservative or even a major pain in the ass you will find your match here if you look hard enough. I love this place cause I have shared laughs and tears even angry words at a time or two. I love this place cause you people are not just strangers to me When Arron got sick I worried, and prayed for him, When I heard a few of our members are expecting I was filled with joy for them. I don't know about you all but I would be sad if this place did not exist. Thank you to all the STAFF for all the hard work and hours you spend on this site for no pay. I understand you all have a life some a very busy one and yet you still volunteer your time to make this place happen. I appreciate both staffs and I'm highly glad that I don't have to pay for any of your psychiatrists visits after all the stress this place may cause you. smile. Ok so come on guys tell me about some good times you have had on here. or why you like this place. Show some love.

I come mostly to reply to topics I like and agree with. It gets tiresomeand discouraging to hear people put down a topic that's basically harmless, but not not stimulating enough to some people. I liked eternity's topic about which type of chatr you prefer, text chat or voice chat and why. This sort of thing is right up my alley, because I've experienced a lot of different chats, both on text and voice, and they both have theihr advantages and disadvantages. I feel too old to get in to many conversations with people on here, excdept for the boards, which is different, because you are not necesarily always there when someone replies to your topic or vice versa. So I guess I come mostly to reply to topics that I identify, or where I understand the poster, and where he or she is coming from. It depresses me, when someone's topic is met with the response like, this topic wasn't good to begin with, and hasn't improved, lets get back to more important topics. My heart goes out to those people who got that sort of response, when there topic was just mild and harmless, and some of them were topics I agreed with and understood. So I guess i come to reply to topics, and play anagrams when I'm on a lucky streak and find a lot of them.

I come here for the advice that people give, the joke bord, and the geeks are us bord. Always looking for that topic that I can contribute to. I also come for the rant bord because some of that stuff is halarious. By the way I will be at the zone my fourth year on February 23. So yeah I guess you could say I've been around.

Thanks guys for replying. That is what I'm talking about. I have had some great times on zone and on Vt. I've laughed so hard listening to some of their stories to the point I was crying. We have been flat out goofy and had good times. We even got Maddog singing rap one time (I don't care who you are lol that was funny). I also like that there is so much pure talent in writing, singing, playing music all kinds of stuff. I also have made a very close friend due to the zone that I wouldn't of met had it not been here. Anyhow keep the stories coming I know you have to have some good memories here.

I originally joined the Zone just to play Anagrams, and the other games on here. However, I have made some good friends in the process. I come back for the games of course, but also to meet people, talk on the Boards, and just have fun.
I like coming on here to read the boards and to post responses at times.
I also like the games because they are competetive in that you can compete with your own scores etc. but they aren't wildly competetive.
I guess the thing I like best about the zone, is the friends one makes on here. You aren't going to like everyone you meet, but you are going to find a few people who you like to talk with.
I also like the fact that You can get into a raucous political argument with someone, where you fight like cats and dogs, or sympathize with a fellow zoner because of their illness or depression. You can share a joke or two, or, perhaps, an experience or two. All that's really required is a little mutual respect.

I come here for the support of people who go through the same stuff, the laughs, to keep in touch with friends, to waste time, to learn, I've met loads of great mates on line, a lot of them from hot braille, accessible chat, and now the zone. go j and chris for getting this place off the ground and kepping it that way. take care all. I like this site because I have met some awesome people on it, and it was the first chatting website I ever signed up on, and I have opened my mind a lot more now. Yeah. And I agree that negativity is waAAAAY to prominent, not just in this website but in the world.
I have met some great people on here. Some friends that I will want to keep in touch with over the years even if this here zone goes down for whatever reason. I have also met probably the best boyfriend I have ever had here on the zone. Chris and I will be going out for 4 months on the 13th of december, and the relationship just keeps getting better and better. All in all, this site is all right, the people, the talent, the laughs, and the just plain goofiness of this site. Thank you J and Chris, for starting something that even through all the drama can have it's nice points.
I love the advice that the boards offer, and especially the crazy conversations on ventrilo. Its great to have other people to laugh with when you can't get to sleep, or don't want to.
